A reminder about substack sections...

as my posts become more diverse in content!

and welcome to the new subscribers from today!

I just want to highlight that I do have different sections on my substack and that you can choose to only subscribe to individual sections as opposed to the whole feed.

Instructions on how to do that are here.

My topics are:

• “All about Covid” - updates on where we with Covid in the UK, any new developments in Covid (e.g. new research on Long Covid, new vaccines or new variants)

• “NHS by Numbers” - posts more broadly about the NHS (e.g. NHS winter strain, NHS organisation, my other research work (e.g. Cancer, Intensive Care, Congenital Heart Disease) and public health

• “Miscellaneous posts” - this is where I would write about US or UK politics, or threats of a new pandemic (e.g. Bird flu) or something else entirely.

• “Legacy Covid Twitter Threads” - I’m very slowly archiving Twitter threads on Covid. I don’t send these out as emails, but they are there as an archive.

So basically, if you are only interested in the Covid stuff, I’d subscribe only to that section and ditto if you only want to read about politics, then subscribe to “miscellaneous” section and don’t expect super frequent posts!

I’ve been battling deadlines so far this year, but they are now gone so hope to post a bit more often again!
